Insurance coverage for counseling varies by plan. Many insurance companies offer benefits for mental health or behavioral health services, but the amount covered and your out-of-pocket cost depend on your specific policy and whether your therapist is in-network or out-of-network.
Here are a few steps to help you find out what your plan covers:
If you’re unsure where to start, we’re happy to help you understand your options before your first session.
You can get started by reaching out via email or through this website. We will get in touch to schedule a FREE 15-minute initial consultation and answer any questions you may have. This brief consultation is a great opportunity to discuss your goals, learn more about the therapy process, and see if we’re a good fit to work together.
I accept credit/debit cards, HSA/FSA cards, and electronic payments through secure billing platforms.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, are subject to a late cancellation fee.
Please note that clients are personally responsible for any late or cancellation fees — these fees cannot be billed to insurance.
The length of time it takes to see results from counseling varies for each individual and depends on the concerns being addressed. Some clients notice positive changes after just a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns and sustain progress over time.
At Brighter Days Therapy, we’ll work together to set goals, regularly review your progress, and adjust your treatment plan to best support your growth and well-being.
No. Brighter Days Therapy does not provide 24-hour crisis or emergency services. If you are experiencing an emergency or immediate safety concern, please call 911, 988, or go to the nearest emergency room.
Therapy is a collaborative, supportive process focused on helping you navigate life’s challenges, build coping skills, and feel more grounded and empowered. My approach is relaxed, person-centered, and tailored to your individual needs and goals. We’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Yes. Therapy is confidential and protected by law, with a few legal exceptions related to safety, abuse or neglect, court orders, and insurance billing. These limits are discussed in detail during the intake process.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step — and it’s okay to have questions. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want extra support, therapy may be a helpful place to start. You’re welcome to reach out to see if Brighter Days Therapy feels like a good fit.
